A third suspect was arrested in connection with a shooting that killed a man who was celebrating his cousin’s birthday at a Henry County club, authorities confirmed.

Monte Glover Jr., 28, who was arrested in Clayton County on Sunday, was wanted for murder in connection with the shooting death of Decoby Barlow, 31, on Dec. 9, McDonough police Maj. Kyle Helgerson told AJC.com.

Clayton County police said they arrested Glover after getting a suspicious-person call near Osbourne Court. Glover and an unnamed woman were found in a car along with 11.5 ounces of marijuana, scales and a handgun, and both were arrested, police said in a Facebook post.

Barlow was shot by a stray bullet in the parking lot of Traxx Lounge and Grill off Ga. 155 around 2 a.m., AJC.com previously reported. He was there celebrating his cousin Leshaeldrick Stafford’s birthday.

“I did not invite my family out for somebody to get killed,” Stafford previously told Channel 2 Action News. “I saw him die right in front of me. Man, that’s the worst thing I ever been through in my life.”

Stafford said Barlow was getting in a car when three men opened fire outside the building, killing him. The club had several bullet holes in the wall near the entrance from the incident.

Jalon Edwards, 28, and Colton Sims, 29, were arrested in December in connection with Barlow’s death, Helgerson said. They both face at least 10 felonies, including charges of murder, possessing a firearm during the commission of a felony and aggravated assault, according to jail records. They remain in jail without bond.
