The high heat will continue into the weekend for Palm Beach County, according to the National Weather Service. With a sunny sky and a high temperature in the low 90s today, there's not much difference in the forecast than for the record-tying past few days.

A high-pressure system over Palm Beach County is expected to offer little relief in the way of rain tomorrow or throughout the weekend. A projected heat index of 100, however, is a few degrees less than what we've seen earlier this week.

In the evening, forecasters expect low temperature near 80 and winds of 5-10 mph.

Martin County and the Treasure Coast will have similarly sweltering temperatures, with a high temperature in the low 90s and “feels like” heat index up to 105. The skies remain clear into the evening, with a light wind around 5 mph and a low near 75.
