Weekend rain, go away … or maybe stay. Who can say?

The chance of showers through the weekend is good for people already tired of the summer-like temps we’ve had and for those who don’t want to endure road construction. But, not so good for people with serious outdoor plans.

Friday night

“At 1 o’clock today, cloudy skies and some isolated showers. 3 o’clock, more of the same,” Channel 2 Action News meteorologist Karen Minton said. Temperatures in the upper 70s.

Saturday rain

“We’re looking at a 60 percent chance in the first half of the day, drying out a little bit in the evening and nighttime hours,” Minton said. High of 79 predicted.

Sunday, rain

“Mother’s Day will be dry in the morning, but evening showers begin to develop and you’ll notice temperatures start to pop back up into those summer-like levels,” Minton said. Expect a high of 84 degree.
