Pollen today still ‘high,’ but the rain is washing it away

The pollen count this morning is has dropped again to 131, its second lowest number this month, according to Atlanta Allergy & Asthma.

The relatively low pollen for the area, though actually still considered in the "high" range on the scale, comes in a week of continued rain.

Oak, pine, sycamore, mulberry and will are all high, according to AAA.

Grass and weeds are both very low, according to the site.

The pollen count over the last seven days has averaged 1,289.
