Enjoy the plentiful sunshine and warm fall temperatures Sunday, but be prepared for the chill Monday morning, according to Channel 2 Action News meteorologist Brad Nitz.

“After a mostly sunny and warm afternoon, temperatures will tumble after sunset, setting us up for a chilly start to the work week,” where metro Atlanta will see low 50s and 40s will prevail in the suburbs and the rest of north Georgia.

But the chill won’t last, Nitz said.

“Despite that chilly start, we’ll have full sunshine tomorrow and a big warm up. Tuesday afternoon’s high will be 78, according to Nitz. That high temperature will prevail most of the week, with lows in the low to mid 50s.
