Trick-or-treaters won’t have to bundle up this Halloween Monday with near record highs and sunny conditions ahead.
“You’ll actually be able to see their costumes this year,” Channel 2 Action News meteorologist Karen Minton said.
Atlanta temperatures will pass the average high for this time of year, 69 degrees, early Monday.
And on the heels of temperatures that soared to a record-breaking 86 Sunday, temps are forecast to reach a high of 85 by 4 p.m. Monday and possibly break a record high of 85 set in 1961, Channel 2 reported.
“We might creep up one degree and break it, as we did yesterday,” Minton said.
Temps were 63 degrees in Atlanta, 46 in Blairsville and 50 in Griffin just before 6:30 a.m.
