Any rain metro Atlanta gets won’t be from Tropical Storm Julia.
The storm, which brought strong wind and rain to South Georgia, could dump between 6 and 10 inches of rain in Coastal Georgia before diminishing to a tropical depression, according to Channel 2 Action News.
“But as we watch this,” Channel 2 meteorologist Karen Minton said, “we have just a few little sprinkles that may pop up to the far north and some clouds coming close to south metro.”
In metro Atlanta, a 20 percent chance of rain and highs in the 80s are in the forecast each day through Friday.
Rain chances will increase to 30 percent Saturday, and the weekend will also bring lower temperatures.
Highs will only reach the low 80s Saturday before they increase to the mid-80s Sunday.
Temperatures were 85 degrees in Atlanta, 74 in Blairsville and 73 in Griffin just after 10 p.m.
Atlanta is expected to reached a high of 87 degrees by 3 p.m. Wednesday.
