Friday’s low temperatures may equal Saturday’s high.

The mercury hovered in the low 50s before daybreak, but it’s expected to climb into the upper 60s by the afternoon, according to Channel 2 Action News meteorologist David Chandley. Skies will be mostly sunny.

But winter will make an abrupt return Saturday, with the high temperature expected to reach only the low 50s. Strong n wrthwestinds will make it feel even colder, with gusts up to 20 mph possible, Chandley said.

Temperatures will hover just above freezing overnight Saturday, followed by more typical late November temperatures on Sunday, with a high of 55 and low of 31.

Warmer temperatures will return Monday, with Chandley forecasting a high of 62. Skies will remain clear over the next five days.
