A new bar garden is coming to The Battery Atlanta this weekend. Blue Moon Beer Garden opens at Truist Park April 6. The latest addition to Atlanta’s nightlife is set to offer an outdoor patio just steps away from the entrance to Truist Park, offering lounge seating, an outdoor bar, coastal-inspired menu, live music and plenty of TVs.

From 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Wednesdays, patrons can enjoy the Live! Beer Garden event.

“Grab your happy hour crew for a shared table and relax in the perfect outdoor space with refreshing beer and appetizer specials, entertaining patio games and live local musicians,” the beer garden’s page on The Battery Atlanta’s website said.

From 8 p.m. to midnight on Thursdays is Girls Night Out.

“Kick off the weekend early with drink and appetizer specials while participating in rotating activities from Sip’ N Paint to learning about some of our signature drinks with a Cocktail Class,” the website said. “Shop with local small businesses while dancing and vibing with a live DJ.”

From 10 p.m. to midnight on Fridays and Saturdays, the beer garden celebrates a Late Night Foodie event.

“Curb your appetite and quench your thirst with the perfect late-night menu,” the website said. “Relax on the patio under the nighttime sky with friends while jamming to live music.”

The beer garden will be taking the place of Todd English Tavern, a celebrity chef-run restaurant that closed its doors in 2018. The restaurant space is located next to the still-open Sports & Social Atlanta.

“With the start of another amazing Braves’ season, we are so excited to add a powerhouse concept under our roof at Live! at the Battery,” Omari Buncum, Associate Vice President of Operations said in a press release. “Investing in projects to further delight our guests remains a core commitment to our continued success at Live! At the Battery.”
