Due to high demand, Beyoncé has extended her stay in Atlanta by adding a third night of performances to her “Renaissance” world tour, Mercedes-Benz Stadium officials announced Saturday.
The tour started off with just one stop in Atlanta, but a second and now a third performance were quickly added to the schedule. Now, shows will be held Aug. 11, 12 and 14.
Verified Fans who were previously waitlisted for the Atlanta shows get unique access codes, stadium officials said.
According to AMB Sports + Entertainment, fan demand already exceeds the number of available tickets by more than 800% based on current registration numbers, Channel 2 Action News reported.
“Renaissance” will be the 41-year-old’s first tour as a solo headliner since 2016′s Formation World Tour. Her stop in Atlanta will be her first time performing in the city since 2018 when she co-headlined with Jay-Z for the On the Run II Tour.
The singer has revealed that “Renaissance,” her seventh solo studio album, is the first act in a three-part series.
Atlanta-based artists Tricky Stewart, The-Dream and Nova Wav are among the credited producers and songwriters featured on the 16-track LP released July 29.
The album was nominated for eight Grammy awards at this year’s Feb. 5 ceremony. Beyoncé’s wins that night, including her 32nd overall award, broke a 26-year-old record. She is now the most decorated artist in Grammys history.
