You don’t have to tell “Seinfeld” fans what today is: It’s Festivus!

“Seinfeld” fans have been uploading their Festivus traditions across all social platforms. The holiday is celebrated Dec. 23 and serves as an alternative to the commercialism of Christmas.

The actual inventor of Festivus is Dan O’Keefe. His son, Daniel, was a writer on “Seinfeld” and appropriated a family tradition for an episode.
