Atlanta United plays its first ever home game at Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Sunday, and if getting there by bike is your "G-O-O-O-O-A-L" (sorry), good news:
The Bike Valet will be waiting.
The gleaming new home of the ATL's pro soccer and football teams has partnered with the Atlanta Bicycle Coalition to provide the free service at every Falcons and Atlanta United home games. The bike valet will be available from two hours before kickoff and end one hour after each game (It's not the first example of outside-the-box thinking from the bike group, which offered "how-to" sessions on using two wheels to hack your commute back when the I-85 bridge collapsed last spring).
And it's a far cry from the old days when you looped a chain around the spokes of your Schiwnn and prayed. From the description on the stadium's web site:
“The valet will utilize a digital check in service for cyclists to quickly and efficiently check their bikes in” it says about the service, which will be operated by Two Wheel Valet LLC. “When dropping off their bikes, cyclists simply provide their phone number, and they will be sent a text that includes a secure claim ID and the time that the valet will close. Helmets, lights, bags, and locks can all stay on the bikes, making bike parking easy, fast, and secure.”

Otherwise, the approach is pretty, ahem, soft-pedaled: There's no app you have to download or prebooking required. Not only that, the Atlanta Bicycle Coalition on its web site offers a comprehensive map of preferred biking routes to the stadium from different parts of the city.
The bike valet is located across the street from the stadium’s main gate at 1414 Andrew Young International Blvd NW, Atlanta.
