The Falcons, the defending NFC champs, stopped their three-game losing streak last week and are set to open play in the NFC south against the Carolina Panthers (5-3, 1-1) at 1 p.m. Sunday at Bank of America Stadium.  Thanks to Joe Person of The Charlotte Observer for stopping by to help us breakdown the Panthers.
