A 15-year-old boy died after a four-vehicle wreck in Henry County, police announced Tuesday. Four other people were injured.

The accident happened Sunday on I-75 northbound at the Jonesboro Road exit around 7 p.m. during inclement weather, Lt. Joey Smith with Henry police said.

According to the preliminary investigation, during rain and fog, a Ford Fusion rear-ended a Ford Flex, which then hit a Ford Focus and a Honda Accord.

The Jefferson teen, whose name has not been released, was killed. Two children and one adult were transported to Piedmont Henry Hospital, and another person was taken to Atlanta Medical Center. None had life-threatening injuries.
