Woman killed in wrong way interstate wreck in Cherokee

Feb 28, 2015A Jasper woman driving the wrong way on Interstate 575 in Cherokee County was killed Saturday morning when she drove head-on into a tractor trailer.
Kristen Adams, of Jasper, was traveling south in a silver Toyota Corolla in the northbound lanes of Interstate 575 between Ball Ground and Canton, when she struck a tractor-trailer head-on, the Georgia State Patrol told Channel 2 Action News.
Adams was pronounced dead on the scene of the 2:30 a.m. wreck, troopers said.
Georgia State Patrol is still investigating the wreck and a drug/alcohol test is pending.
