Woman killed in hit-and-run in Douglas County

A woman was hit by a car and killed while crossing the road in Douglas County, according to the Douglas County coroner’s office. The driver of the car kept going.

Audrey Hartley, 56, was killed while attempting to cross the road at a stoplight at the intersection of Midway Road and Fairburn Road, according to authorities. The incident reportedly happened between midnight and 1 a.m.
