Atlanta police have arrested a woman in connection with the overnight shooting of a man found dead inside a tractor-trailer parked outside a southwest Atlanta motel.

Olubumi Ogunsuyi, 35, has been charged with murder and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

The man, identified by the Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office as 49-year-old Courtney Daniels of Stone Mountain, was found dead shortly after midnight inside the cab of his truck at the Travel Inn on Forrest Hills Drive at Cleveland Avenue.

Atlanta police Lt. Charles Hampton told Channel 2 Action News that the victim was shot once in the head, apparently after a verbal argument escalated to gunfire.

Channel 2 reported that investigators found a woman inside one of the motel rooms and recovered a gun.

Ogunsuyi is being held at the Fulton County Jail and is scheduled to make her first court appearance Friday morning.
