UPDATE: Suspicious packages at Mt. Zion High School School were determined not to be dangerous, Channel 2 Action News reports. Police will do a clean sweep of the school before letting students back in.

ORIGINAL REPORT: Clayton County's Mt. Zion High School has been evacuated while authorities check out a suspicious package, an unidentified piece of luggage, discovered at the Jonesboro school around 11 a.m. Wednesday, according to Channel 2 Action News.

Students have been evacuated to the Performing Arts Center across the street and Mt. Zion Parkway has been closed in front of the school during the investigation of the package.
