Officials are investigating a multi-vehicle crash that temporarily blocked all exit lanes from I-285 westbound to I-75.

At least two vehicles were involved in the Monday morning crash, according to the Georgia Department of Transportation's website.

A witness told Channel 2 Action News that a vehicle with Michigan plates attempted to change lanes at the last minute. That vehicle clipped a pickup truck, sending the truck tumbling at least a half dozen times.

“I witnessed when one of the passengers from that truck, they just went up in the air,” witness Martin Ramirez told Channel 2. “They went up about, I would say, 10 to 15 feet high.”

That person, according to the news station, is in critical condition. The driver of the truck is reportedly in serious condition. A third person has only a minor set of injuries, according to Channel 2.

The scene cleared just before noon.
