A 12-year-old girl was killed in a Thanksgiving Day chain-reaction crash on I-285 in DeKalb County.
Six vehicles were involved in the 1:30 p.m. wreck, which happened on I-285 eastbound near Buford Highway in Doraville.
Channel 2 Action News reported that two adults and a second child were also hurt in the wreck, which shut down all eastbound lanes of the interstate while police investigated and cleared the wreckage.
The Georgia State Patrol Friday identified the girl killed as Allison Beasley of Marietta.
The girl was one of four people killed in holiday weekend wrecks across the state through early Friday, according to the GSP.
