Q: On “Shark Tank,” which celebrity shark has made the most deals?

—Kathy McDonough, Peachtree Corners

A: Mark Cuban had made 102 deals through the latest episode, according to a current show spreadsheet.

Halle Tecco, an angel investor and adjunct professor at Columbia Business School, keeps track of a variety of statistics on the show, which is in its eighth season.

Lori Greiner is second with 75 deals, followed by Daymond John (67), Robert Herjavec (66) and Barbara Corcoran (65).

There have been a total of 325 deals, with Cuban investing $25.3 million, followed by Herjavec at $19.1 million, according to the database, which can be viewed at bit.ly/1IJRJtc.

The show will surpass $100 million in investments by the end of this season, a show spokeswoman told Q&A on the News in an email.

Q: What was the diameter of the Colonial pipe that carries gasoline through Georgia? Is there some kind of protective coating on that pipe?

—William McKee Jr., Flowery Branch

A: The diameter of the pipe is 36 inches and there is a protective, anti-corrosive coating on the outside of the pipe.

Colonial Pipeline, which is based in Alpharetta, also uses cathodic protection, which is an electrochemical method of preventing corrosion, spokesman Steve Baker told Q&A on the News in an email.

Most of the leakage flowed into a nearby retention pond, according to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.

Crews have been cleaning the pond and have constructed underflow dams to prevent the contaminated pond water from draining into Peel Creek, a tributary of the Cahaba River, AL.com reported.
