Q: I would like to what’s going on with Jeff Francoeur. He has only been on Fox Sports about three times.

A: Francoeur joined the Fox Sports broadcast team in June 2017, covering Atlanta Braves baseball on Fox Sports South and Fox Sports Southeast, according to a Fox spokesperson.

He debuted as an analyst on “Braves Live!” June 5, on Fox Sports Southeast. Since then, he has also joined Chip Caray and Joe Simpson in the booth as a game analyst. His first game was June 16, during the Marlins vs. Braves series on Fox Sports South, followed by the Aug. 25-27 Rockies vs. Braves series on Fox Sports South.

He is scheduled to appear next during the Sept. 5-6 Rangers vs. Braves series as a pre- and post-game analyst on “Braves Live!” on Fox Sports Southeast, according to the schedule provided by a Fox spokesperson.

He will be back in the booth as a game analyst during the Sept. 15-17 Mets vs. Braves series on Fox Sports South before appearing as a pre- and post-game analyst on Fox Sports Southeast’s “Braves Live!” Sept. 19-22.

Francoeur, a 12-year MLB veteran, retired following the 2016 season with 160 career home runs.
