Georgia Tech police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man who allegedly touched a woman on campus Monday.
The woman, a student, told authorities that as she was walking behind Brittain Dining Hall near Williams Street NW around 5:45 p.m., the man approached her from behind, reached under her skirt and touched her. The man was last seen heading westbound on North Avenue in a red pickup truck, according to a safety alert sent by the college Monday night.
The suspect was described as a white man in his 40s, with short blond hair, wearing a gray, long-sleeve, button-down shirt with dark-colored lining and gray pants. His vehicle was described as a red pickup truck, possibly a Nissan, with a black toolbox in the bed of the truck.
A photo of the man next to his truck accompanied the safety alert sent out by officials.
Anyone with information on this or any other criminal incidents is asked to contact the Georgia Tech Police Department at 404-894-2500 or crimetips@police.gatech.edu.
