Shofar on Main Street: The blowing of the shofar, rams horn, is an important part of the Jewish holiday season in the days leading up to Rosh Hashanah. It reminds people to "wake up," reflect on the past year and begin spiritual preparation. Rabbi Glusman will sound the shofar on the Marcus Jewish Community Center of Atlanta's Main Street as well as in the fitness center every weekday at 11 a.m. Aug. 17 – Sept. 11. In concert: The "In His Presence Concert" will feature Lecresia Campbell as well as local performers.
