Nov 11, 2014DeKalb County will be reimbursed up to half the cost of installing electric car charging stations under a rebate from the Georgia Environmental Finance Authority, the county recently announced.
Three new charging stations have already been approved, and they’ll be located at the DeKalb Government Administration Building, the DeKalb Fleet Maintenance Building and the DeKalb Central Transfer Station.
Interim DeKalb CEO Lee May said the rebate will help create the infrastructure needed to encourage people to use electric cards and benefit the environment.
