The man suspected of shooting and killing another earlier this month outside a Gwinnett County sports bar remained on the loose late Wednesday, according to police.

Anthony Meguil Luis Brooks, 21, allegedly shot Terrence Robinson in the chest outside Tailgators on Hurricane Shoals Road on Oct. 10, Lawrenceville police said. Brooks then left the area on foot, according to witnesses. Robinson, 37, later died at Gwinnett Medical Center.

Police have charged Brooks with felony murder, aggravated assault, possession of a firearm by convicted felon and possession of firearm during the commission of a crime. But he has eluded capture, police said.

At the time of the shooting, Brooks was on parole following his release from prison after a drug conviction, according to the Georgia Department of Corrections. In 2013, Brooks spent about 7 months of a 15-year sentence in prison after being convicted in Barrow County, booking records showed.

Brooks is often spotted on a dark-colored bike and frequents the Hurricane Shoals and Curtis roads area in Lawrenceville. He is 5-feet-8 inches tall, weighs 135 pounds and was last seen with his hair in cornrows, according to police. Brooks is considered to be armed and dangerous.

Anyone with information on the suspect’s whereabouts is asked to contact Lawrenceville police.
