Alpharetta is known for excellent schools, thriving businesses and bucolic horse farms.

And now, the metro Atlanta suburb is getting attention for a less than desirable reason. The city is among the top in the country with Ashley Madison accounts, according to a new analysis.

In August, hackers released account data of more than 30 million users of the cheating site Ashley Madison. RoadSnacks, has scoured the hacked database and determined the number of accounts by ZIP code. It then used the estimated population of a given ZIP code to determine the number of Ashley Madison accounts per capita.

Top cities with Ashley Madison accounts:

1. Boston, Mass.

2. Schenectady, N.Y.

3. New York City

4. Washington, DC

5. Arlington, Va.

6. Roanoke, Va.

7. Irvine, Calif.

8. Tempe, Ariz.

9. Alpharetta, Ga.

10. Buffalo, N.Y.

The analysis found that many of these cities have populations with higher concentrations of wealth and professional men.

Alpharetta has 11,357 Ashley Madison accounts, according to the report, meaning roughly 8.4 percent of the population is potentially cheating.
