A pedestrian was in critical condition after being struck by a vehicle Monday in Forsyth County, according to police.
The person hit, whose name was not released, was taken to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries, Deputy Robin Regan with the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office said.
The wreck happened on Atlanta Highway at Strickland Road, Regan said. Atlanta Highway was temporarily closed in the area during the investigation.
The driver who struck the pedestrian remained at the scene, Regan said.
The investigation into the crash continues.
