It appears President Obama will get his Iran deal, but the U.S. Senate is expected to vote its disapproval on the nuclear pact. Is it the best agreement we could get? Did President Obama acquiesce to Iran’s demands? Prominent Georgians today debate the issue. Former U.S. Senator Sam Nunn, D-GA, writing with former Sen. Richard Lugar, R-Indiana, says the plan “makes it far less likely that the Iranians will acquire a nuclear weapon over the next 15 years.” Republican Senator Johnny Isakson, R-GA, says it’s a bad deal that endangers Israel and the world.
