Four 'Nine Trey Bloods' gang members were sentenced to decades in prison after being convicted Tuesday in a November 2013 shooting death in southwest Atlanta, the Fulton County District Attorney said.

Elijah Brewer, 26, Tshombe Stripling, 25, and Talib Smith, 24, were convicted of murder, felony murder, participation in criminal street gang activity, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, criminal attempt to commit armed robbery and weapons offenses, DA Paul Howard’s office said. A fourth person, Katrina Shardow, 26, was convicted of several other crimes, including financial transaction card fraud and theft by conversion in the shooting death of 30-year-old Khaseim Walton.

Walton was shot multiple times while he was driving on Arlington Avenue, causing him to hit a utility pole, according to investigators. Walton was ambushed and asked about the cost of cocaine, and when he attempted to drive away, he was shot in the chest and back.

The gang members left the crime scene in an SUV rented with a stolen credit card, Howard said. The vehicle was discovered a couple of weeks later, abandoned and engulfed in flames.

Brewer was sentenced to life in prison plus 50 years, Stripling was sentenced to life plus 35 years, Smith was sentenced to life plus 30 years, and Shardow received a 30-year sentence.
