Streaming service pioneer Netflix suffered a worldwide service outage Thursday morning, according to several reports.
Downdetector, a service site that collects reports of service disruptions, revealed more than 1,100 reports of Netflix streaming outages in the U.S., Europe and parts of Asia. As of about 11 a.m., Netflix's customer service line delivered a message saying service was restored, but according to Downdetector's live map, there were still a number of reported outages for the streaming service.
"Some of our members were unable to use Netflix for approximately two hours today," a Netflix spokesperson told FOX Business. "This issue has now been fixed. We're sorry for the inconvenience this caused."
