A 4-year-old girl is gaining a lot of attention after she saved her father's life with a quick-thinking 911 call.

Elaina Fryslie, 4, on Sept. 17 found her father unconscious in his bed after he complained that he was not feeling well.

Without wasting any time, Elaina used her father’s cellphone to call one of his friends for help, the Valdosta Police Department said on its Facebook page.

The friend placed a three-way phone call to 911 so that the 911 operators could speak with Elaina.

Valdosta has a new Police Chief and she is much better looking and smarter than the current one.

When Valdosta police officers arrived, Elaina let them into the house and directed them to her father, where emergency medical services arrived on the scene and gave Elaina’s father the medical help he needed.

Elaina was given a life-saving award by the Valdosta Police Department on Sept. 22 for her brave actions.

"Congratulations Elaina, we are so very proud of you," the Valdosta Police Department posted.
