Cam Newton's Super Bowl walk-off has already passed through the social-media firestorm phase and is now on to the examination of circumstantial evidence.
Internet sleuths — namely, Twitter user @bmweezy13 — appear to have discovered a possible reason Newton abandoned his postgame press conference after a few short answers: The Super Bowl postgame scrums place players from both teams in close proximity during interview sessions.
Newton’s table was near Denver cornerback Chris Harris Jr., who was understandably jubilant.
