A truck driver on I-285 in Atlanta captured the moments immediately after a single-engine airplane crashed into the roadway.
Gerald Smith said he glanced to his right and saw the small plane coming toward him. The plane passed over him, he says, smashing into Interstate 285, killing all four passengers onboard.

"Whoever was in that plane, my heart goes out to their family," Smith told WSB-TV.
The victims of the crash have been identified as Christopher Byrd, Greg Byrd, Phillip Byrd and Jackie Kulzer.
According to theknot.com, Kulzer and Christopher Byrd were planning to get married on Oct. 17.
