1. No charges for Lewandowski: Donald Trump's campaign manager Corey Lewandowski will not face charges over an incident involving a reporter last month in Florida. Lewandowski  had been charged with assault after he grabbed a reporter and pulled her back from Trump at a campaign event in Miami. The Florida State's attorney's office has scheduled a news conference for 2 p.m. (ET) Thursday to address the matter, according to a statement.

2. When Donald and Kelly met: Donald Trump and Fox News Channel host Megyn Kelly met Wednesday to "clear the air," according to Kelly. The meeting lasted two hours, Kelly said on her show Wednesday night. She said they discussed a potential interview in the near future. Trump has criticized Kelly since August when he said he felt she asked him an unfair question during the first Republican debate.

3. Live-streamed rape: Authorities say an Ohio woman has been charged with live-streaming the rape of a 17-year-old friend. Marina Lonina allegedly used the social media app Periscope, which has a function that allows you to stream events live, to broadcast the girl's rape.  Raymond Gates, 29, were charged Wednesday with rape, kidnapping, sexual battery and pandering sexually-oriented matter involving a minor.

4. Planes buzz U.S. ship: Russia's defense authorities say they are baffled at the reaction of American military officials after Russian jets buzzed a U.S. Navy destroyer in the Baltic Sea this week. Maj. Gen. Igor Konashenkov, spokesman for the Russian defense ministry, said the jets turned back after spotting the American ship, "while using all measures of precaution." The U.S. European Command said the ship was buzzed multiple  times over a two-day period.

5. Didn't know it was Smith: Cardell Hayes, the man accused of shooting and killing former NFL player Will Smith, did not know it was Smith who was shot until the day after the incident, his attorney said. According to his attorney, when Hayes found out the victim was Smith he collapsed in a chair. Smith was shot nine times following an altercation over a traffic accident.
