Atlanta police have arrested the man accused of slugging a child at a Midtown Whole Foods.
Charles Edward Jones, 53, was charged with simple battery, police Sgt. Greg Lyon told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
Detectives May 1 released a photo Jones, who police say punched a 10-year-old in the chest at the Whole Foods in the 600 block of Ponce de Leon Avenue on April 4.
A witness confronted the man, who then sped away from the parking lot in a silver BMW X5, police said.
