A garbage truck slammed into an Alabama home Friday morning, authorities said.

The crash happened at 10:15 a.m. at a home in Vestavia Hills, AL.com reported. Vestavia Hills Fire Capt. Ryan Farrell said the Republic Services truck caused significant damage to the two-story home, according to the website.

The impact of the crash pushed the house off its foundation, WBRC reported.

An adult woman was inside the home, and firefighters helped her exit the house through a window, the television station reported. She was not injured.

The driver was treated at the scene and released, AL.com reported.
