The Flagler Memorial Bridge is locked in the down position due to issues with the span locks, the town said late this afternoon.
The contractor is addressing the matter now and the U.S. Coast Guard has been notified, the town said.
Vehicular traffic is not affected.
The contractor has scheduled replacement of the span locks for 9 tonight to 6 a.m. Thursday. The bridge will be locked in the down position for this work.
All travel lanes will be open, but marine traffic will be affected.
