KDVR reported that surveillance cameras showed the driver of a pickup truck getting ejected across the yard of a house as the vehicle crashed into the home around 5 a.m. Sunday. Some time later, the driver is seen crawling out from under a fence line, the station reported.

The Aurora Police Department told KUSA that the structure of the house was compromised. Aurora Fire Rescue officials said those inside could not stay there because of the damage, according to KCNC. The damage mostly impacted the kitchen and living room, KUSA reported, citing Aurora Fire Rescue.

The American Red Cross of Colorado is assisting the family as they are displaced, KDVR reported.

The driver was cited for reckless driving and driving under the influence, according to KUSA. The identity of the driver has not been released.
