Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders will meet Thursday night in Brooklyn for a debate in advance of Tuesday's New York presidential primary.

Both Clinton and Sanders are claiming the home field advantage -- Sanders was born there, Clinton served as the state's senator for eight years.

Thursday's debate could see fireworks as both candidates have been lobbing attacks at the other's record.

Here’s a quick look at how and what to watch for in Thursday’s debate.

Who's in: Sen. Bernie Sanders, (I-Vt.), and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. Below are links to their websites.

•    Hillary Clinton

•    Bernie Sanders

Likely issues:

While we don't know for sure, the likely issues to be raised in the debate include:

1. The past nine votes – Bernie Sanders has won eight of the last nine Democratic primaries/caucuses. Clinton is most likely to be asked why she thinks Sanders' campaign has been so successful in recent contests.

2. Big money – Who is donating to which campaign? Sanders says Clinton will be beholding to big-money donors if she wins. They will be debating in the shadow of Wall Street, so look for Sanders to ask, again, that Clinton release the transcripts from speeches she was paid nearly a quarter of a million to deliver to Wall Street companies.

3. National security – Clinton says she is the one, and only one, with the national security experience the country needs. However,  she may have to explain comments made by President Barack Obama this past weekend. He said the United States was not adequately prepared to handle the fall of Libyan President Moammar Gadhafi. Clinton has included in her accomplishments the fall of Gadhafi's regime.

When’s the next one

A tenth Democratic debate has been approved and set for May, but the date and place of the debate has not yet been announced.

There are no plans for another Republican debate.
