Charges have been dropped against a retired insurance executive who was accused of engaging in sexual intercourse with his Great Dane named after supermodel Christie Brinkley, the Palm Beach Post reports.

Armand Pacher, 65, was charged seven months ago and had faced up to five years in prison.

"This is not an occasion of joy for me," Pacher told the Post. "Although the prosecution has finally decided to say ‘just kidding, never mind,' my life has been fully destroyed."

Miami-Dade prosecutors said they dropped the case due to "the lack of presently available physical evidence," the paper reports.
