A video of a 3-year-old boy repeating an affirming message is spreading happiness across social media.

ABC News reported that Alissa Holder said in an Oct. 1 Facebook post that she had been teaching her son, Ayaan, the positive phrase since his second birthday. When he kept repeating it on their walk, she took out her phone and recorded it.

"I taught Ayaan this positive affirmation on his 2nd Birthday last year in hopes that he would one day memorize it, understand it and use it as a motivational tool whenever he needed it," she wrote in the caption of the video, which was also posted on Instagram. "Well, he shocked me this morning. Out of nowhere he started repeating it, so I pulled out my phone. He ended (with enthusiasm lol) once we made it to our destination."

Today.com reported Holder was walking her son to school in New York when she recorded the clip.

The video has been viewed on Instagram more than 140,000 times.

"So proud of the little boy he is growing into," Holder captioned the post.
