After Thursday’s performances by U.S. Olympic team members, it would be hard to imagine you could watch a more exciting day at the Summer Games. But, with the Olympics only halfway done, you can be sure there’s plenty of drama left to come.
Friday will see the qualifying events for track and field, more swimming action and shooting and rowing events.
Here’s a look at some of the events set for Friday.
What channel?
The Summer Games are being broadcast on NBC, Telemundo, Bravo, CNBC,MSNBC, NBC Sports Network, the Golf Channel, NBC Universo and USA Network. That’s just for TV. The rest of the coverage is digital.
Live streams
Streams will be available on NBCOlympics.com as well as via the NBC Olympics app. Look for the app on iPhones and iPads, Android phones and tablets, Windows phone, Roku streaming boxes, sticks and TVs, Amazon Fire TV and Fire TV sticks, the new Apple TV via the device's app store, and Chromecast via the NBC Sports iOS or Android app.
Telemundo will stream Spanish-language commentary through its website as well as its Telemundo Desportes apps on Android and on iOS. Again, you’ll be asked for your pay TV account login info.

• 10 a.m.: Shooting
• 10:40 a.m.: Water polo
• 11 a.m.: Womens singles tennis semifinal
• 1:15 p.m.: Mens basketball
• 2 p.m.: Shooting
• 2 p.m.: Volleyball
• 2:42 p.m.: Woman’s trampoline finals
• 4 p.m.: Fencing
• 5:04 p.m.: Women’s cycling
• 7:30 p.m.: Track and Field coverage for the evening begins
• 9 p.m.: Swimming: 200-meter backstroke (9:03 p.m.) and 800-meter freestyle (9:20 p.m.)
