Son and brother of two former presidents, Jeb Bush threw his hat into the ring in his bid for the White House.
He announced his candidacy on June 15, 2015.

- 1974 - Married Columbia. Had three children and is a grandfather.
- 1986 – named Florida's Secretary of Commerce, resigned in 1988 to help his father George H.W. Bush run for President.

- 1998 – ran and won race for Governor of Florida. He served two terms.
- Cut taxes every year as governor. Cut state workforce by 13,000. Vetoed over 2,500 lines items in the state budget.

- Florida rainy day fund increased from $1 billion to $10 billion.
- Updated state's testing for students, created tax-supported scholarships.
