Nicki Minaj reveals sex of her newborn baby
Weeks after it was reported she and her husband welcomed their first child together, Nicki Minaj has revealed the sex of their newborn.
The rapper confirmed she had given birth and revealed if she had a boy or girl on Instagram.
Minaj said she had a baby boy in a post that included photos of cards from famous friends and family congratulating her on her new addition. Among the well-wishers are Beyoncé, Kim Kardashian-West and Kanye West, model Winnie Harlow, fashion designer Riccardo Tisci and singer Karol G.
“Thank you to Queen B, Kim & Ye, Riccardo Tisci, Winnie, Karol & everyone who sent well wishes during this time,” she captioned the post. “It meant the world to me. I am so grateful & in love with my son. Madly in love. My favorite liddo boy in the whole wide world.”
Minaj reportedly gave birth Sept. 30 in Los Angeles. Her husband, Kenneth Petty, was by her side.
In July, she confirmed she was expecting in a series of Instagram photos, including one taken by David LaChapelle.
“#Preggers,” she captioned the first image with a yellow heart emoji.
