A Florida K-9 is generating smiles across social media after the Orange County Sheriff’s Office posted his new ID photo.

Today.com reported the German shepherd named Chico posed in his handler’s uniform for the image. It’s the first time he’s done so, as his handler, Cpl. Robert Lees, wanted him to feel special for the routine photoshoot.

“K-9 Chico posed for his new ID badge today,” the department said in a Thursday post on Facebook. “He even wore a tie for the photo."

“K-9 Chico is a valued member of our team and we were thrilled to see his picture bring smiles to so many faces,” Bailey Myers, spokesperson for the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, told Today.com. “He has been a member of the Orange County Sheriff’s Office for four and a half years but in dog years this photo celebrates 35 years of dedicated service.”

Chico has worked with Lees throughout his time at the department. The two also live together and when Chico’s not working, he plays tug of war with Lees and his family and enjoys his Kong food toys, Today.com reported.
