A 28-year-old man died Thursday after an early morning shooting outside an Atlanta strip club.

According to Fulton County police Cpl. Kay Lester, police began responding to a shots fired call outside Riley’s Show Bar, 4425 Fulton Industrial Blvd., shortly before 1 a.m. Officers soon learned that a person had been struck by gunfire.

“What we know is two males got into an argument in the parking lot and it escalated into a shooting,” Lester told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

The victim was transported to Grady Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Lester said a 52-year-old man was arrested in connection to the shooting, though the charges he may face are not yet known.

Fulton County police continue to investigate the incident and have not yet named the suspect or victim.
