Two months to the day from when he got out of state prison, a Paulding County man showed up for work. Business as normal.
But at 8:20 a.m. on Thursday, John Lewis Gamble went into the restroom at the North American Container Corporation in Mableton and removed all of his clothing, his colleagues told Cobb County police.
“The accused reported to work today and removed all of his clothing in the bathroom,” Gamble’s arrest warrant states. “He then went into a large warehouse area in the presence of several co-workers, completely nude, exposing himself to them.”
Gamble, of Dallas, was taken first to Cobb WellStar Hospital for evaluation. From there, he was arrested, charged with public indecency and booked into the Cobb County jail, booking records showed. Gamble was released Friday night after posting $1,000 bond.
No information was released on what prompted Gamble to remove his clothes at work.
On Feb. 16, Gamble was released from state prison after serving nearly six years following a burglary conviction in Douglas County, according to the Georgia Department of Corrections.
