Worker dies after falling 16 feet on construction job

A 46-year-old man from Cleveland, Ga., died Saturday from injuries he suffered when he fell while doing construction work two days earlier, Canton police announced.

Chris Wayne Hulsey was working on storage tanks near Lower Scott Mill Road and Hickory Flat Highway around 4 p.m. Thursday when he fell approximately 16 feet. Hulsey was taken by ambulance to WellStar Kennestone Hospital with severe injuries.

Hulsey died Saturday, police announced Monday afternoon.
