“Greenstock Day” in Woodstock – when residents can get rid of hard-to-recycle items like phones, curtains and fluorescent light bulbs – is set for Saturday, June 20, rescheduled from April because of the COVID-19 outbreak.

The collection will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Woodstock Elementary School, 230 Rope Mill Road, according to the city's monthly newsletter.

Items that will be accepted free of charge include phones, batteries and electronics other than televisions and monitors; compact fluorescent bulbs (no tubes) in a clear, plastic, sealed bag; textiles including clothes, shoes, backpacks, towels, curtains and plush toys; confidential residential documents for destruction (limit eight boxes per car); magazines and newspapers; and hearing aids and eyeglasses.

There will be a $25 charge, cash only, for TVs; $40 for projection TVs; $10 for CRT monitors; and $5 for LCD monitors.

Woodstock's partners in the event are Waste Management, Premier Surplus, USAgain and A1 Shredding and Recycling. Information: https://bit.ly/3cUEINA
